Last night’s fire drumming ceremony in Sedona was powerful. The theme overall was that of gratitude and remembering the importance of what makes us truly happy. Not fancy cars, houses, jobs, or titles. These are all temporary feelings of happiness. Instead, let’s take a moment to look at what truly makes our hearts happy. Tonight, I had the honor of working with a lovely group of women from all over the world. We drummed and gazed into the fire. Fire gazing or pyromancy is an ancient shamanic or spiritual practice that can assist us in gaining insight, clarity, or a vision. When we focus on what what we are grateful for, and we give those things careful attention, we will naturally begin to experience more things to be grateful for. Many good things to come.
